Partnered with BeeLine Reader, an innovative accessibility tool that colorizes text within an article, helping to pull readers’ eyes from one paragraph to the next. This helps boost article completion rates.
inewsource became the first news outlet to use a technology I dubbed Contextualizer, the first integrated used of AI on our site. The tool uses contextual information from the story + a general understanding of terms to generate definitions for each of the highlighted concepts. We then manually review those definitions and edit them as needed.
