Giovanni Moujaes
Journalist | Innovator |Content Strategist
Some were born to draft financial proposals. Others were destined for a career in medicine. I was built to be a storyteller.
l started my career in news working as a photojournalist at the San Diego Union-Tribune at 17 years old. I then went on to graduate from the Annenberg School for Journalism and Communication and become the youngest full-time staff member to join KTLA 5 News in Los Angeles. My multimedia work spans local and national news outlets, including The New York Times and The Guardian. I also won an OJA award as lead editor and producer for a 360 documentary series with USA Today and The Desert Sun. I'm now the director of audience growth at Lookout Santa Cruz, developing engagement, integration and content strategies that grow the publication's reach among diverse and emerging local news audiences in Santa Cruz. |
